The European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) continue to reinforce their cooperation by developing a series of joint workshops to be held on an annual basis. The aim of this collaboration is to develop professional and academic understanding across a broad range of geoscience disciplines to better serve the memberships of both associations.

The first in this new series of workshop events, which will alternate on a yearly basis between Europe and North America, will be held in Lisboa from 20 - 22 November 2013.

The theme of the workshop is: "Basin-Margin Wedge Exploration Plays".
