In addition to the technical programme, a number of social events have also been organised for our participants and registered family members.
Monday, 7 April from 18:00 to 20:00 hrs
A special icebreaker reception has been organised to open the conference and exhibition. This reception will be held throughout the general exhibition area.
The icebreaker reception is an excellent way to kick off the week. Have a sneak peek at the exhibition and meet with attendees from around the globe.
Conference evening will be held at the fabulous Summer Palace in Peterhof on Wednesday, 9 April, from 19:00 to 0:00 hrs.
The Summer Palace of Peter the Great is situated 12 km off Saint Petersburg in Peterhof, one of its scenic neighbourhoods. The construction of the Summer Palace was based on the unique design by Antonio Rinaldi, which is an architectural pattern of the best traditions of 18th century. At the time, the place was projected as a riding hall for the Gatchina Palace and Garden Complex. This is the fact that explains the exterior simplicity, which is more than compensated by richness of interior decoration – beauty of statuaries, pomposity of the baroque grand staircase and brilliance of panels on the vaults of the palace. You will enjoy the elegant décor that is a delicate stylized design which uses conventional technologies and materials – marble, bronze casting, Venetian plastering, and painting. All the ceiling ornament correlates with the style of the Antonio Rinaldi’s plaster work and decorated with a subtle replica of Chinese Palace’s ceiling picture “Venus and the Graces” by S. Torelli. Original vases from “The Waterslide” (Oranienbaum), scones from the Orlov Hall (Gatchina Palace) are used in the interior of the palace.
Traditionally, the most interesting entertainment programme will be prepared for the guests of the party; they will enjoy a la carte menu that represents a harmony of classical recipes and modern cooking trends (under the supervision of a famous Saint Petersburg chef).
All registered full delegates and registered family members will receive a conference evening ribbon. Only the conference evening ribbon in combination with a valid badge will give admission to the conference evening.
All registered family members have access to the exhibition and to the social programme, which includes the Icebreaker Reception and the Conference Evening. In addition, registered family members are invited to attend the family member tour on Wednesday, 9 April.
Family Member Tour

Inside, the guests can marvel at the multi-million dollar Amber Room, a reconstruction of the original baroque masterwork. This interior is unique. Nowhere in the world can you see anything like this.
The duration of the tour is 4 hours, including the time on the road (the Palace is located 24 km from the city of Saint Petersburg). Departure from the hotel Pulkovskaya main entrance at 10:00.
