Deutsche Geophysikalische Gesellschaft (DGG)
The Deutsche Geophysikalische Gesellschaft (German Geophysical Society) - DGG represents almost 1,200 members in more than 30 countries worldwide. The society was founded in 1922 in Leipzig, its first president was the seismologist Emil Wiechert. The DGG aims to disseminate and broaden geophysical knowledge in research, academia, application and among the general public.

DGG/EAGE Workshop on “Fibre optics technology in Geophysics”
The topic of this workshop will be “Fibre optics technology in Geophysics” and the workshop will take place on Friday 31 March 2017, one day after the DGG Annual Congress. Consequently, if you attend the DGG Annual Congress, do not hesitate to register for the DGG/EAGE Workshop as well!
