Recognition Programme

The EAGE Membership Recognition Programme was launched to recognize the loyalty of our members and the value they bring to the Association. The Programme offers a number of extra benefits to those renewing their membership based on the number of years they have been with the Association. Even after one year the benefits begin to kick in!

Rewarding Our Loyal Members

When joining EAGE for the first time, you are granted Green membership status, which gives you the basic package of member benefits. But by renewing your Green Membership just once, you will already move onto Bronze Membership which offers a far greater member discount on events and deeper access to the EarthDoc archive. As you renew with EAGE over the years you will reach the Silver, Gold and Platinum Levels, each of them bringing additional perks for our loyal members.

Our honorary members and ex-Presidents are granted Platinum for Life membership.

EarthDoc Access Explained

For our regular and retired members access to the backlog of the EarthDoc Archives is based on the level in the Membership Recognition Programme. Student members will have access to the entire backlog of conference & exhibition proceedings, as well as the journal(s) subscribed to.

All members can enjoy access to the most recent content available on EarthDoc but as you grow as a member you will gain deeper access to the archive’s backlog. If you need quick access to earlier years, EAGE asks for a small contribution that will go a little way in helping us maintain and develop this important knowledge platform.

Your customized EAGE membership card

Your personal card will clearly show your membership status.

If you have not yet renewed your EAGE membership, make sure to do this as soon as possible to ensure you can get the most out of EAGE for the year.

Even better, opt for some peace of mind and renew for three or five years in one go, ensuring your growth as an EAGE Member can stay on course in the years to come.

Siddharth Misra

Prof Dr Siddharth Misra’s research focuses on improving subsurface characterization and prospect evaluation for the exploration of hydrocarbons, minerals and water resources.

His major contribution is in the theory of electromagnetic responses of geological formations to various charge polarization phenomena. The theory has enabled him to introduce a multi-frequency electromagnetic log-inversion technique to remove dielectric effects for improved estimation of hydrocarbon pore volume.
