EAGE Workshops

EAGE workshops are typically two to three day meetings with a large focus on solving and discussing scientific topics amongst peers in a highly specialised discipline or topic field. Workshops provide an excellent forum for sharing insights and in-depth knowledge. These events are characterised by smaller more intimate group of attendees and a narrow topic focus in order to meet the goals of building a community within the related topic area.

Workshops are usually repeated every other year allowing the  workshop communities to monitor scientific progress, emerging techniques and present alternative methods.

EAGE Workshops are organised year round across the globe on a wide range of disciplines.

You can access the full overview of our activities in the EAGE Calendar of Events.

Siddharth Misra

Award-Spinning-coin-

Prof Dr Siddharth Misra’s research focuses on improving subsurface characterization and prospect evaluation for the exploration of hydrocarbons, minerals and water resources.

His major contribution is in the theory of electromagnetic responses of geological formations to various charge polarization phenomena. The theory has enabled him to introduce a multi-frequency electromagnetic log-inversion technique to remove dielectric effects for improved estimation of hydrocarbon pore volume.
