Environmental Policy

EAGE Events implement a waste-reduction policy addressing Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Our objective is to research and prioritise the purchase of items that support the use of recycled materials, or that can be recycled after use.

Programme & Catalogue and Event App

The Programme & Catalogue has been reduced in size to focus on the most essential information, therefore reducing paper usage. The Event App serves as a useful compliment/replacement and provides the most accurate version of the Technical Programme schedule in addition to networking and discussion functions.

Lanyards & Badges

Our lanyards are made using recycled rPET material. The metal hooks and fabric will be sent to a local supplier for recycling after the event. We also provide recyclable name badges without a plastic pouch.

Bags

Our handy lightweight bags are made from recycled cotton and designed ideally for everyday use. The bags are also circular, which means that they can be recycled again after use.

Transport

We fully encourage the use of shared transport for our staff and delegates. Where possible, the conference accommodation options are offered within walking distance from the venue and nearby public transport stations.

Siddharth Misra

Award-Spinning-coin-

Prof Dr Siddharth Misra’s research focuses on improving subsurface characterization and prospect evaluation for the exploration of hydrocarbons, minerals and water resources.

His major contribution is in the theory of electromagnetic responses of geological formations to various charge polarization phenomena. The theory has enabled him to introduce a multi-frequency electromagnetic log-inversion technique to remove dielectric effects for improved estimation of hydrocarbon pore volume.
