Update 16 March 2022

In support of Ukraine’s geoscience community, EAGE  introduced a special fee waiver programme for the country’s geoscientists and engineers. Until further notice, we will welcome Ukrainian colleagues to participate in our workshops, conferences and education programmes, both in person and online, free of charge.

Ukrainian colleagues wishing to take advantage of this programme are asked to send their applications to membership@eage.org under the heading of “Ukraine fee waiver”. Please indicate which support element you wish to apply for (membership, workshop, conference or course).

Update 20 May 2022

Following up on proposals we received from EAGE members about how they can support their Ukrainian colleagues, the EAGE Student Fund established a new programme to help support the travel and accommodation costs of their Ukrainian colleagues’ attending the 85th EAGE Annual Conference & Exhibition and other EAGE events in 2024.

EAGE members who wish to contribute to this initiative can donate here.

Ukrainian colleagues wishing to take advantage of this programme are asked to send their applications to info@eagestudentfund.org under the heading of “Ukraine Professional Development Fund”. Please indicate the event and the amount of support you wish to apply for.

  • Applicants should be members of the wider Ukrainian geoscience and engineering community

Visit Learning Geoscience to learn more about EAGE courses and other resources for continuous professional development.

Siddharth Misra

Prof Dr Siddharth Misra’s research focuses on improving subsurface characterization and prospect evaluation for the exploration of hydrocarbons, minerals and water resources.

His major contribution is in the theory of electromagnetic responses of geological formations to various charge polarization phenomena.
