Building on its Membership Recognition initiative, EAGE is introducing the Volunteering Recognition Programme to celebrate the dedication of its active volunteers. The programme formally acknowledges their contributions and offers access to exclusive benefits in the following calendar year.

We Want to Recognize Your Work

Through the Volunteering Recognition Programme, EAGE aims to honor the commitment of volunteers who support the Association across all activities, regions and disciplines. Serving in a wide range of roles and capacities these individuals play a vital part in advancing EAGE’s mission and strengthening its service to members, today and tomorrow.

Interested in Volunteering?

Check the current openings on this page or send a message to communities@eage.org with your CV, and a brief explanation of your interests and motivation for volunteering.

How Are we going to recognize you?

Based on their contributions throughout the year, volunteers will be recognised across three tiers, each offering increasing levels of recognition and rewards:

  • EAGE Associates
  • EAGE Envoys
  • EAGE Ambassadors

A number of new and exclusive benefits will become available to recognized volunteers as described in the table below. These include the opportunity to advance your membership level (and unlock additional related benefits) through active participation and engagement, rather than solely through time.

To kick off the first year of the Volunteering Recognition Programme, EAGE will announce the recognition for the volunteers of 2025 soon. Consequently, the 2026 volunteers will be recognized in 2027.

Thank you for your contribution to eage

We would like to sincerely thank all our volunteers for their dedication, time, and commitment. Your contributions are essential to the strength and success of our Association, and your willingness to share your expertise and energy makes a lasting impact on our community. We are truly grateful for everything you do.

Siddharth Misra

Award-Spinning-coin-

Prof Dr Siddharth Misra’s research focuses on improving subsurface characterization and prospect evaluation for the exploration of hydrocarbons, minerals and water resources.

His major contribution is in the theory of electromagnetic responses of geological formations to various charge polarization phenomena. The theory has enabled him to introduce a multi-frequency electromagnetic log-inversion technique to remove dielectric effects for improved estimation of hydrocarbon pore volume.
