Welcome to our Triple A website! 2021 is here, and with it a brand new EAGE website. Our updated platform aims to make access and information about our services even better than before.
Introducing the new website
Especially in these days of Covid, members are more than ever dependent on our online services to keep up to date with the professional support the Association has to offer. Key to this is a well-defined home, the EAGE website.
That’s why we are calling the relaunched www.eage.org a ‘Triple A Website’. It stands for Appearance, Access and Agenda. We hope you will rate it accordingly!
The three A’s
Appearance: Hopefully you will appreciate the modern look and feel of the new homepage. It’s more visual than before and presents the headlines of EAGE activities at a glance.
Access: Navigation of the site should be much easier and direct. We have tried to categorize Association services and activities so that they are easily spotted on the homepage and reflect our members’ needs. From there, it’s just a matter of clicking on the heading to find what you are looking for.
Agenda: We want to bring you Association news as soon as it happens. That’s why you will find all our latest announcements here on the homepage. No need to do a search, it’s all here. Also look out for the roll out of special features focusing on members of our EAGE community and their take on life as a geoscience/engineering
professional.
Your engagement with EAGE online
While we have developed a new improved website, the change won’t impact some key sections. Log-in will continue to be the same and our special websites such as EarthDoc.org and the new LearningGeoscience.org will be unaffected although they can of course be reached through the homepage as well as directly.
We hope you like the approach we have taken to upgrade www.eage.org. It will continue to evolve as we see how it works in practice. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know. That way, we can continue to improve. Contact us at communities@eage.org – we’re keen to hear your thoughts!
