EAGE Annual 2021 Update

New dates for the EAGE Annual Conference & Exhibition

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, the 82nd EAGE Conference & Exhibition is rescheduled to 18-21 October 2021.

We believe the move to autumn will provide greater opportunity for international travel following the roll-out of international COVID-19 vaccination programmes.

New dates & deadlines

In order to give our community the opportunity to submit their latest research we are extending our call for abstracts. Aspiring presenters can submit new research up to 1 May 2021.

For the full announcement and latest news on the event, please refer to our website. We want to thank you for your understanding and we look forward to welcoming you to a long overdue meeting in Amsterdam this October.

Siddharth Misra

Award-Spinning-coin-

Prof Dr Siddharth Misra’s research focuses on improving subsurface characterization and prospect evaluation for the exploration of hydrocarbons, minerals and water resources.

His major contribution is in the theory of electromagnetic responses of geological formations to various charge polarization phenomena. The theory has enabled him to introduce a multi-frequency electromagnetic log-inversion technique to remove dielectric effects for improved estimation of hydrocarbon pore volume.
