The 2021 Canadian Exploration Geophysical Society (KEGS) Symposium includes a dedicated ‘Best of EAGE’ session as part of their conference. Four speakers will present their work at the online meeting in March.
Following the meeting’s theme ‘Geophysical Advances: Case Studies and New Techniques’, the presentations were selected from the deliveries at Near Surface Geoscience 2020 and will bring research from the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway to the meeting.
The presentations selected are:
- Marios Karaoulis (Deltares, the Netherlands) – Drone-Borne Electromagnetic (DREM) Surveying in The Netherlands;
- Magdalena Markovic Juhlin (Uppsala University, Sweden) – Spare 3D Reflection Seismic Survey at Ludvika Mines of South-Central Sweden;
- Jean-Remi Dujardin (NGI, Norway) – Acoustic Impedance Inversion of High Resolution Marine Seismic Data with Deep Neural Network; and,
- Jaana Gustafsson (Guideline Geo, Sweden) – Efficient State-of-Art HDR 3D GPR Compared to 2D Traditional Utility Investigations
A big thank you to our speakers for representing EAGE! Each contributions can be found on EarthDoc. More information about the online event is available at the KEGS Symposium website.
